Welcome to Eastcoast Cabs. By using our website and booking services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully before making any booking.
3.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability. Once you submit your booking, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS.
3.2 Changes and Cancellations
You may cancel or change your booking up to 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up time without any charge. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the pick-up will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the fare.
3.3 Driver Availability
While we strive to match each booking with an available driver, there may be circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from doing so. We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by such delays.
4.1 Fares
Fares will be displayed at the time of booking. All fare estimates are subject to change depending on factors such as traffic and route alterations.
4.2 Payment
Payment must be made at the end of your ride via cash, credit/debit card, or any other method specified at the time of booking.
4.3 Refunds
Refunds will only be issued in cases where a ride was not provided due to service faults or cancellations as specified in section 3.2.
5.1 Personal Conduct
Users must behave appropriately and respectfully during the ride. Any misconduct or damage caused to the vehicle will result in additional charges, including repair or cleaning costs.
5.2 Accurate Information
Users are responsible for providing accurate information when making a booking. Eastcoast Cabs will not be liable for issues arising from incorrect or incomplete details provided by the user.
5.3 Punctuality
Users must be ready at the designated pick-up location at the time of booking. The driver will wait for 10 minutes beyond the scheduled time, after which the ride may be canceled, and a cancellation fee will apply.
6.1 Timely Service
Eastcoast Cabs will do its best to ensure the timely arrival of drivers; however, we do not guarantee specific arrival times due to traffic and other unforeseen conditions.
6.2 Driver Conduct
All drivers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and courteously. If you encounter any issues with a driver, please contact us immediately.
6.3 Safety and Compliance
Our drivers follow all traffic laws and maintain their vehicles to a high safety standard. However, Eastcoast Cabs is not responsible for accidents caused by third-party negligence.
7.1 Limitations
Eastcoast Cabs will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
7.2 Personal Belongings
Eastcoast Cabs is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicles. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that they take all their belongings when exiting the vehicle.

Eastcoast Cabs reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the website implies acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
